Q. Congratulations on another well-played match. On to the finals. Today started out perfectly for you. 3-up through three holes, 5-up at the turn, and then things got a little -- just a little bit dicey for you on the back nine. Was that a little bit a case of fatigue, mentally getting a little tired?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, probably all of the above. The back nine plays harder always. On 10 I found the right bunker and it's quite tough to get up and down from there.
I hit the most interesting chip shot of my entire life on 11. I just started laughing. I was like, well, that's cool. PI think it's all fatigue and just not hitting it as well. Also the back nine being so much harder.
Q. And you've played a lot of really good, intense golf. You're on the verge of trying to win four in a row.
NELLY KORDA: Uh-huh.
Q. Does it help that it's a match play format, something different?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I think it's fun. I don't get to play much match play. Only time we get to really do that is in Solheim Cup where you get to go 1 v. 1.
It's fun and definitely something new. With this golf course being so, so tough I feel like you can take on so much more risk. You do make a mistake it's okay because you just lose the hole, right?
I think this golf course is perfect to match play and I've had so much fun doing it.
