MAISIE FILLER: Yeah, it was just a little thing, but it's all good. We figured it out.
Q. No penalties?
MAISIE FILLER: No penalties, no.
Q. What was the little thing?
MAISIE FILLER: We just had a disagreement with what the group made of whiffing a tap-in or not whiffing. Figured it out. It's all good.
Q. Can you talk about the conditions of the day, just what a tough task it was out there?
MAISIE FILLER: Yeah, it was definitely a battle. I knew that going in. My sister and I had a good mindset going in that it was going to be a battle, so we had 18 battles, and we just kept counting down, we're like, nine more battles, five more battles, and we just took it on with confidence.
Q. What was the toughest shot you had out there today?
MAISIE FILLER: I ended up basically behind the tree on 9 into the green, not on purpose, and I was going to just chip it out, but then I just saw a little line to hit up to the right side of the green and went for it. It was pretty gutsy, but it worked out.
Q. How much have you grown just in these past few years?
MAISIE FILLER: I've grown immensely. I owe that to my coaches, my teammates, and just being able to play in conditions like today, you always learn so much about your game. It's definitely mentally difficult, but it's rewarding when you battle through it.
Q. Playing in the SEC is not easy but you've managed to get some pretty big wins this year. Talk about that.
MAISIE FILLER: Yeah, they've definitely been a confidence boost. We have such great competition in all the tournaments we play at, so to be able to succeed in that is definitely a confidence boost, especially coming into individual events like this.
Q. How did you feel coming out here your freshman year?
MAISIE FILLER: I definitely had a lot of confidence after my freshman year going into college. I was definitely uncertain of myself and was wondering if I belonged in certain settings. But once I got to college, I realized I do belong anywhere, and I can compete with anyone. It definitely gave me a lot of confidence.
Q. You mentioned your coach is helping you. Talk about your relationship with her.
MAISIE FILLER: Yeah, my coaches have been awesome. Beth walks with me a lot in tournaments. We get along really well and she helps me a lot, and they just have so much belief in me, so it helps me to believe in myself, as well.
Q. How excited are you to play Augusta National?
MAISIE FILLER: It's pretty surreal right now. I know I'm I think tied for second, which is pretty surreal, but I'm just excited to go compete at Augusta. It's pretty amazing.
Q. What do you do to handle your nerves when you're in a pressure situations like you're surely find yourself on Saturday?
MAISIE FILLER: I think I just rely on my training and my preparation, and I have to trust that I've done the right things before going into it, and I'll definitely rely on my sister a lot to keep my mind off of things and just be focused on the right things.
Q. You were talking about earlier how you weren't sure if you belonged. What was it that made you feel like you belonged? When did you know that?
MAISIE FILLER: I think once I got to college and I saw some results against other good players, and especially coming here and knowing that I earned a place in this especially gave me confidence that I am one of the best in the world.
Q. Who's here with you this week besides your sister?
MAISIE FILLER: All of them that you see behind you, my mom, both my sisters, my dad, and then my sister's boyfriend, who's my biggest fan arguably.
