Q. You were able to finish that last one strong. How were you able to power through today?

JENSEN CASTLE: A lot of patience. The bogeys I did have was all about hitting in the wrong spot. They weren't necessarily bad shots. They were bad committed golf swings, hitting in places you shouldn't or just missing a number. Simple as that.

So I was able to move on and realize you're still swinging it really with good. That doesn't change how you're playing. You're hitting shots that up and down is really hard to do.

Q. How much did the weather impact you today?

JENSEN CASTLE: You know, I'm not going to lie. I'm really glad I was the second one off. Coming down the stretch it was blowing. All my friends give my crap because I don't necessarily believe in this the whole wind slope situation.

Looking at flags, like my hat fell off almost twice. Going into tomorrow, probably tie it a little tighter and play to win a little bit more than I did today.

Q. You came into the studio last week you said your dad got you into golf. There was a group of little girls from Colombia and their dads watching you today. What does that mean to inspire that next generation?

JENSEN CASTLE: Yeah, I don't think there are any words that I could use to describe that feeling. Golf is a game for everyone, especially seeing girls get into it so young is so important.

I mean, regardless of what happens in my future with golf, I'm just so glad I know how to play this and the game has out to me so much. Any way I can spread love and the joy of what the game as given me, I will. So it means a lot.

Q. Anything you'll change for tomorrow in your approach?

JENSEN CASTLE: Hat a little tighter and hit it a little better and the misses be in better places pretty much.

Q. What was your overall assessment of the round?

JENSEN CASTLE: I give it a C-minus. I did a lot of good things, but can't hit it in some of the places I did. That's the thing, is like I hit good shots, but at the end of the day, you got to hit in places where you can score.

None of the putts went in, which going into tomorrow, like, again, giving myself grace and patience is the -- as the round went on my lines changed a lot. It became a lot more straighter than left edge and right edge.

So going into tomorrow just kind of giving myself more looks than I gave myself today and patience and I mean, I know what I got to did tomorrow. It is what it is.

Q. Talk about putts not going in. Walk us through 12. Had a good look at birdie there.

JENSEN CASTLE: Yeah, I think I had about 15 to 20 feet, probably about 18 feet, straight downhill. I'm not going to lie, I felt really good over that putt. I was like it's about time it's going in. If it's not going to go in it's going to go pretty far past it, not going to lie.

Sure enough, I was happy with the read. I just -- I don't think it was the right read. Kind of hit something halfway there and threw it a little bit off track. I had about five feet coming back, so right there the momentum going to the next hole make that is putt was kind of huge.

Q. What do you for the rest of the night? Keep up with how everybody else is doing?

JENSEN CASTLE: I'm starving so I'll probably go get some food, roll a few putts, and enjoy this weather. Especially that it's this windy and I'm not playing golf.
