Q. I did speak to Min Woo, your brother, on the golf course, and it was so cute watching him. He was taking a video of you teeing off on 16. Just kind of melted my heart. What's it like having him out here?

MINJEE LEE: No, it's nice. I didn't know he was going to come out today. Yeah, no, nice to see him on the back nine here. I would do the exact same thing, so, no, it's nice for him and his friends to come out and support me.

Q. We all kind of wondered how the course would play with stroke play. We've seen it with match play. What was it like trying to put a score together out there on this very difficult course that seemed to get tougher as the afternoon went on?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, it was so much more bouncier than I thought it was going to be come like the back half of my round. Yeah, no, a little bit of the wind came into factor there as well.

I think not being match play from the first round is a little bit different for me because I've always played it as a match play, like everybody.

I don't know. It's just like I have to dial back a couple off the tee. I was like, I would hit driver here but I'm going to hit 7-wood or 3-wood so it's not as aggressive.

So a little bit different mindset for the first couple days. No, it's really fun to play out here at Shadow Creek.
