Q. You had a chance to hit balls a little bit yesterday. A little practice in and first practice round. How was it out there?

PHOEBE BRINKER: It was awesome. Really fun to play together today. I've played this golf course a lot, so it was really just like focusing on how I was hitting it and hitting some putts, and then it was Emma's first time.

EMMA MCMYLER: Yeah, it was a treat to go out there and play. Phobe was kind of helping me around a little bit so it was a good time.

Q. You've seen this on TV before. How surreal is it to be on site and be able to participate in ANWA?

EMMA MCMYLER: Yeah, really cool. A lot of the hard work has gone into receiving the invitation, so to get to play in this event is really rewarding.

Q. Phoebe, it's your third appearance. What kind of things have you shared or taken with you going into the week?

PHOEBE BRINKER: Yeah, certain things about this golf course, like there are certain spots you just don't want to be. It was like a good refresher or me as well helping her out.

And then just for this week, I'm going to really try to enjoy it because it's definitely my last one. Just going to soak it all in and have as much fun as I can.

Q. You heard about and seen it. What's it been like being here with some of the top players in the world and just be able to showcase your ability?

EMMA MCMYLER: Yeah, really cool. This is what you practice for, what you work for, to compete and play against the best players in the world.

So I'm ready to kind of get the week started.

Q. And then last thing. Doing this together and being able to practice together, come down together and do this together being how special is that?

PHOEBE BRINKER: It's awesome. Better than being here alone for sure. I really enjoy playing golf with Emma. I'm really excited to play at Augusta with her as well.
