Q. How would you describe the round today?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Because my tee shot wasn't great, that made it challenging. I think, overall, I had a good round.

Q. How much harder is the golf course, was the golf course today, compared to Thursday?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: There was a difference in the wind direction today compared to yesterday. The greens were a lot more faster today, so that was something that was challenging today.

Q. How is your back?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I was playing great until the second shot on 18. So, hopefully, I get healthy for the weekend.

Q. How do you treat it? What are you doing for treatment?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: There's quite a bit of treatment that I've been doing, so it's hard to describe, but I've been feeling healthy, so, hopefully, I can keep that for the next two days.

Q. Final thing, you won at Genesis, your last start, you're playing well here, how would you describe your confidence in your game right now?

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Ball striking-wise there isn't much difference compared to Genesis, the week at Genesis. I feel like I've been putting pretty good. Chipping-wise, there's some good chips and bad chips. Overall, I feel like my game is on point, so, hopefully, I can keep that for the weekend.
