Q. Okay, I'm here with Minjee Lee after her 7-under round here at Blue Bay LPGA. How did your game feel out there? No bogeys, right?

MINJEE LEE: No, I had no bogeys. Just seven birdies. I played really solid today. I just took advantage of the really calm conditions this morning, and I think with the a little bit the rain it actually stopped it even more, the wind.

So, yeah, just played smart when I had to and then just tried to capitalize on the good conditions that we had.

Q. Yeah. And you said playing smart. Any way you approached the green in particular? I heard there are a lot of slopes.

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, because we played in the morning it wasn't as bouncier, so I was able to just like stop it a little bit more, but come the back nine they were kind of rolling around through the hills -- like through the -- a lot of undulations I was on the other side where the pin was, so I hit a lot of good lag putts and just tried to be on the right parts of the green.

They're so small and the hills are so severe that I think sometimes you just can't help it. You just have to accept it and then just accept the putt that you have.

Q. Is a lot of it being patient out here?

MINJEE LEE: I think tomorrow it really will be. Today obviously with having the conditions that I had I was able to be a little bit more aggressive.

But, yeah, definitely a lot of patience and just maybe sometimes accepting what you have and that's the best you're going to be.

Q. And you're a champion here. What memories do you have coming back here and being here right now?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, it was actually quite a long time ago, 2016. Few of the holes were different. Obviously 16, 17, 18. I just remember I was just like it was my second year out and I didn't know anything. It was a new event and I played and I just came here with no expectations and I just had a lot of fun that week.

So hopefully kind of similar vibes this week.

Q. You hold a lot of scoring records out here. I don't know if you knew that.

MINJEE LEE: I didn't.
