Quick Quotes
Q. Obviously not the way you wanted to finish, but put yourself right in contention through three days. Talk about your game today.
VICTOR PEREZ: Yeah, quite happy to be fair because I think after doubling the third you kind of shoot yourself in the foot, and if somebody would have told me on 4 tee that I was probably going to end the round under par, I would have probably taken it considering the conditions. So I was quite happy with that.
Obviously it's disappointing to bogey the last, but it's law of averages in a sense. You hit some good ones on hard holes. I'm quite happy overall.
Q. With all the trouble that's out there, does this feel like a course that you can come from behind and do some damage with?
VICTOR PEREZ: I mean, I don't know. I guess I don't have much experience. It's my first time playing the event. I would say when the course gets tricky like that, in a sense you have maybe a little bit more freedom not being in the lead, not having to kind of protect anything. So yeah, maybe that does play to an advantage for the guys coming from behind. I don't know what the stats are with 54-hole winners.
At the end of the day, whoever is going to shoot the least amount of strokes is going to win.
