Q. Anything you'd say to the kids out there to give them a good piece of advice?

CASON WALLACE: Just go in the gym and just play, really. You don't have to have a trainer to be one of the best players in the world. Just go in there, have fun. Be free.

Q. You set a screen in the Rising Stars game. I'm not sure that's ever been done before. What was your mindset out there?

CASON WALLACE: It was just within the flow of the game. I wanted somebody else to score the ball at the moment. That's the easiest way to get it.

Q. It was really relaxed out there, just regular hoop. You say hoop is hoop, but is this really relaxed?

CASON WALLACE: Not as relaxed as I thought it would be. It was a little more intense. We were playing catch-up the whole game.

Q. Shoes was a big talking point during the game, how do they feel?

CASON WALLACE: They feel great. I've been wearing KD's all year. I'm glad they were in my locker. I like them a lot.

Q. Walking into the locker room and then onto the court, what was it like playing with a bunch of other guys from the previous two drafts?

CASON WALLACE: It was great. It was a different vibe out there. Everybody feels like they're the guy from the last two drafts. So just being able to go out there and share the moment.

Q. Why do you think you were selected to be a Rising Star?

CASON WALLACE: I feel like I've been playing well on a very good team, and I feel like all the other teams and players have been noticing my presence.

Q. To that point, you've been impacting the team success. How much are you looking forward to getting back and reconnecting with the team here after getting a chance to take a few days off and getting back to that work you guys have been doing?

CASON WALLACE: It will be great because everybody is talking about the job's not finished, and how we're going to come back and have even more juice.

Q. You're looking forward to the break?

CASON WALLACE: Definitely.

Q. You got big plans?

CASON WALLACE: Go back to Dallas and just enjoy myself.

Q. I have some friends from Dallas, and they said the big thing about Dallas is the chicken. There's Henderson's, Williams, Rudy's. Which is the best one?

CASON WALLACE: Probably Rudy's.

Q. Did you get a chance to see any of the previous game before you guys went on?

CASON WALLACE: Yeah, I saw Chet and Dub (Jalen Williams) doing their thing.

Q. What did you think?

CASON WALLACE: I liked Chet's windmill. I don't know if I've seen him do that before. I was like wow. They're like, Chet got that? I ain't never seen it. Yeah, that was cool.

Q. Do you like how you're known for your corner threes in your rookie season, you were able to knock one down.

CASON WALLACE: Well, I knocked two down. The other ones wouldn't fall. It was fun being out there.
