THE MODERATOR: Laura, congratulations against the No. 17 seed. What was the key to the match today?

LAURA SIEGEMUND: It's a good question. I don't really know. She played really good. I think it was a good match. It was tough conditions, and I kind of tried to find that recipe that I'm usually looking for, but it didn't exist today I think.

I think I just had to adjust, hang in there at times, fix my serve. When I did that, things got better. But, overall, I think today it was about adjustments, and I did that really well, particularly in the end when things got really heavy and things got really tense, but I think then I still focused on the adjustments and made them right in the right moments.
