Press Conference
M. KECMANOVIC/T. Paul
6-4, 3-6, 2-6, 7-6, 6-0
THE MODERATOR: Two five-setters in a row to get to your equal best at the Australian Open. Just explain how the body is feeling and how pleased you are to make it through to the next round.
MIOMIR KECMANOVIC: It feels good. You know, I want to play five sets just to see how ready I feel. But yeah, I feel good. A good thing I can get some rest now. I'm beyond happy to be, again, in the second week.
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. I want to ask you about Carlos Alcaraz, your next rival. You play him in Miami two years ago. A tight one. What do you think about the match?
MIOMIR KECMANOVIC: I mean, it's definitely not going to be easy. He's been playing amazing. We played two years ago, but after that he has done so much, so it's definitely going to be tough. Hopefully I can play my best tennis and then let's see what happens.
Q. What do you think the best shots, the best qualities, or the thing you fear most?
MIOMIR KECMANOVIC: I mean, I think he's very aggressive, and that's what wins him I think the most points. When it's tough moments, when it's close, he always goes for it. So that's something to watch out.
Yeah, I mean, I'm definitely going to play freely next. I'm going to go for it, yeah.
