Q. Joined now by Ayaka after her second round at the LPGA Drive On Championship. How was your round yesterday different compared to today?

AYAKA FURUE: I just concentrated on my play. I didn't make a lot of birdies on the first nine holes today and yesterday as well. But, yeah, I just make it up. So, yeah, I was pretty good.

Q. How much of playing last week kind of has helped you shake the rust a little bit and get you a little more prepared for this week?

AYAKA FURUE: I definitely could gain confidence because of last week. Yeah, I'm just being confident toward this tournament as well.

Q. Talk about your front nine a little bit. You had four birdies, went bogey free. How were you feeling during that stretch on the front nine?

AYAKA FURUE: I made two birdies in a row on the first nine holes, and I made even on the first nine holes, so that made my day.

Q. What's it going to take for you to kind of keep the momentum going into the weekend?

AYAKA FURUE: I was talking with my caddie that I want to get three birdies per day. So I just want to keep that promise with the caddie.
