Q. Here with Jeff McNeil, current leader at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Jeff, can you tell us a little bit about your round today?

JEFF MCNEIL: Definitely good round out there. Was a lot of fun. Haven't got to play too much golf this off-season, so nice to get out and compete. Don't think I've ever been so nervous on the first hole in my life. Happy to get that one over with. Hit in the fairway and made a par.

Few loose shots here and there, but battled all day. Some putts went in. Chip in on 15 which was pretty exciting. Overall good round.

Q. And I know you're playing with Whit. How is that?

JEFF MCNEIL: It was a blast. Knowing Whit from baseball, first time got to play golf with him. Great time out there. Hit the ball really well. Made a lot of putts. Good round for him, and hopefully he can keep it going in the tournament as well.

Q. What are you looking forward to the next couple days?

JEFF MCNEIL: I think just seeing how good the LPGA players are. Playing with them, seems like they never miss a shot. Short games are incredible. Just want to see the good play. It's going to be a lot of fun.
