STEPHAN JAEGER: Yeah, it's been solid. Hit a lot of fairways. Kind of a must out here. Like this rough out here gets pretty nasty. Got to also keep it low. The wind is blowing pretty hard today, especially short shots and 9-irons and wedges, you got to keep them down.

Did a good job with that and putted nicely for sure.

Q. Fifty Sony Open. Seem to be comfortable especially in opening rounds. Five rounds in the 60s to start out here. Nice to get the season off to a good start in round one.

STEPHAN JAEGER: Yeah, absolutely. I like this place. I'm going to improve on the stats as the week goes on. I like this place. Kind of sets up for my eye. The bermudagrass, like I said, just what I play at home. Very comfortable with that. I'm happy to be here.

Q. New season. What's your outlook and what are your goals for this year?

STEPHAN JAEGER: Yeah, I've got a bunch of goals. We won't get through those right now, but I just want to continue to get better every year. I had a great year last year. Kind of obviously missed out on some big stuff late in the season.

But I'm ready. I'm excited. I've been kind of working hard at home. Ready for a great '24.
