Q. Thorbjørn, great up-and-down on the final hole for that 5-under. You must be pretty pleased with that overall?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, I think surprised, also, from the score. I thought the course was quite tricky. I had not done that much practise, so I was a bit surprised that I played that well today, actually. Very pleased with especially the last four or five holes.

Q. You've been based out here in the UAE for about a year or so. Does that provide you with a comfort blanket to go out there and feel confident?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, I've always loved coming here. I've had decent results in the past here, also.

Yeah, my family is very, very happy to be here. We have settled in very nicely. Yeah, it's a great place, obviously, for golf but also for family and everything else.

So yeah, I enjoy my time here.

Q. What do you make of the format here? Slightly different way to start off the year.

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, it is. It's a fun format. We get to play with a few different guys every day. Know quite a few of the guys from living down here and playing a few Pro-Ams with them. It's good fun with the opening party yesterday, and we all know each other and have a good laugh.

Q. You said you were a little bit surprised with where your game is at, but at the same time you have got seven DP World Tour wins to your name. Do you feel as though you're scratching the surface? Yes, it's early on, but the golf seems to be good.

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Yeah, let's see. It's just one round. I haven't done that much work coming into this week, so also a bit surprised, I felt very rusty the last few practise rounds. Just happy to put a good round together and hopefully do some more work and find something the next few days.
