Q. Brennan, how has your week been?
BRENNAN ARMSTRONG: Oh, it has been great. Made a lot of great memories with our team. Like I said, we have been busy: on the go, practice, to an event. They have kept us busy. It has been fun so far. I am really looking forward, obviously, to the game now. We are kind of getting to that time.
So yeah, just kind of looking forward to that. That is kind of where our focus is now.
Q. How do you juggle playing in a game and the activities?
BRENNAN ARMSTRONG: It is just an on- and off-switch, right. When it is football time, you have to turn it on. You have to get the guys ready and you have to get guys around you to turn that on, too. When we are out here and having fun with the kid or at universal or at different things that we have done throughout the week, you can turn it off, enjoy it.
That is what it is about, too. It is just an on and off-switch, and sometimes you have to push guys to turn it on a little bit harder than others, but that is just kind of how we have done it throughout the week.
Q. What's the biggest challenge that you see?
BRENNAN ARMSTRONG: They play hard. They play super hard. They are in every game. I think overall on the team, they are in every game to the final seconds of the fourth quarter. We know this is going to be a four-quarter game, and it is going to be a battle. I think the culture of both teams are kind of similar and so yeah, we are looking forward to the battle.
Q. What's your time at NC State been like for you, through all of the highs, lows?
BRENNAN ARMSTRONG: It has been crazy, right. That is part of it. I do not think it has been just the season. I think it is probably going to be my life here. The same thing is going to come up, the same thing that happened to me in this. I am just lucky enough I got to experience it; when you are in college, it is a little bit easier than when you are on your own in life. I think I have handled it the best I possibly could.
When I look back on the six years that I have played college football, I look back on just this year, it has been awesome even through the lows.
Q. Offensively, you seemed to hit a different stride. What would have been the key to that, do you think?
BRENNAN ARMSTRONG: I think it is just us executing. Obviously, our coaches put a great plan together and it took the first year with Coach and I being here, me being a first-year guy here, and we have some young guys that are playing, too.
I think we just took a little bit of time to really get into the stride of things and just to come together as a team. I think we have kind of hit that stretch now, and we have had some time off. We are looking forward to giving us one last shot at keeping that momentum going as an offense.
