THE MODERATOR: Jed, great bogey-free round today, 6-under par 66 here today at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Can you take us through your round.

JED MORGAN: Yeah, I rolled in a nice putt on my second hole and my third hole, and yeah, I think it was just a nice round of golf. I haven't played like that for a little bit, so it was good to play like that.

Q. Having played LIV Golf last year with Ripper GC, did you feel like you had a bit more to play for heading into your round today?

JED MORGAN: Yeah, obviously I want to be back there. Like that's where I want to play my golf. It sucks that -- you can kind of look at it both ways; it sucks that I have to come back here, but also after the year I had, this is where I'm supposed to be.

I haven't quite put together the consistent golf, and I need to earn my spot again.

Do I feel like I've got more on my shoulders? Not really, but I do want to get back there.

Q. You're one of 13 players with a bye through to round 2 this week. Did that extra day contribute to your performance today?

JED MORGAN: No, that was hard. The day off, I'm not really good at sitting still and neither is my caddie and neither is my brother, so we've all just been kinda hanging out a bit. Checked out the mosques actually yesterday; maybe that brought some inner peace. You never know.

But no, it was nice to be rested obviously for tomorrow, and to play like that was cool.

Q. You're safely through to the final stage of LIV Golf Promotions tomorrow. What's the game plan going into 36 holes on Sunday?

JED MORGAN: Do more of that, what I just did, and I'll give myself a good chance. If I don't do that, then I won't be there. It's pretty simple.
