THE MODERATOR: Let's welcome Junghwan Lee. Well-played today, 5-under par 67 in the first round of LIV Golf Promotions here at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Can you tell us a little bit about your round today?

JUNGHWAN LEE: We arrived here on Monday, and we practiced a lot, enjoyed it here. Obviously I was playing well this year and I was happy about it, and fully enjoyed it.

THE MODERATOR: Very consistent round today, five birdies and no bogeys. What was the key to your success?

JUNGHWAN LEE: I drove it well and hit the fairways a lot. I had a lot of opportunities to have chances to make birdies.

Q. Tied third, you're comfortably within the top 20 to advance tomorrow to LIV Golf Promotions. What's the game plan going into Saturday?

JUNGHWAN LEE: I think today was the difficult part of this week, but we came out very well. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. The game plan will be the same as today.

Q. What would it mean to your career if you were to get one of the three promotion spots this week?

JUNGHWAN LEE: It's going to be more fun and a lot of time to enjoy golf.
