Q. How proud are you of your ability to kind of turn this season -- there is a phrase I want to use but I can't use it -- turn something to something. You turned it around. How proud are you of your ability to stick with it and wait for the results to come?

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, I'm proud of myself. Of course I wanted the year to go a lot better than it did, but that's golf. You're going to have years like that.

You're going to have tournaments where you just play terrible but then you'll have amazing ones where I play lights out. Those are the ones you have to latch onto and that's what I'm going to do.

I finished strong with four, five tournaments and going to continue with that and have a good off-season of working hard and training and going in the right direction.

Q. Even with the struggles, there is still a lot of accomplishments. Is there one that really stands out that you were excited to check a box?

LEXI THOMPSON: Accomplishments? Yeah, winning the Founders Award was -- I guess it is a golf accomplishment of course. I got it because I am a golfer.

But just giving back to the fans and making an impact on the game, that's really all I want. This is my 15th year, 13th full time, and I've learned that there is more to life than golf accomplishments. There is more to life than wins.

You know, getting a smile out of somebody's face, making their day makes mine better. Even after shooting a bad round, you know, makes my day to see them smile.

So I'm happy that I won that and I'm very honored.

Q. Finally from me, we just walked off the golf course, but what does the off-season look like? You're a grinder, going to be grinding. You're going to take some time I'm sure.

LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, definitely. I have Grant Thornton there the first week of December so going to continue to work hard for that even though it's a more fun tournament. Still going to practice because I want to play well there.

But yeah, continue to work on the things, but at the same time enjoy the time with my family and the holidays and making sure I'm nice and refreshed going into next year.
