Quick Quotes
Q. I'm here about Rachel after her final round at The ANNIKA. Awesome week. Four rounds in the 60s. What did this week do for you?
RACHEL KUEHN: Yeah, I mean, it was so much fun to test my game against some of the best players in the world. I'm incredibly appreciative the opportunity to be here.
It's not every day you get to tee it up against professionals, so I'm really happy with how I played. I didn't quite have my A-game, but I managed to get it around and score nicely. It's done a lot for my confidence in that sense.
Not only just for the spring, but moving forward, when it does come time to turn professional, knowing I can compete out here, big confidence boost.
Q. You're the low sponsor invite and amateur of the week, too. Were you comparing yourselves at all to them, to the field?
RACHEL KUEHN: No. I think I was out here just trying to play the golf course, and, you know, trying to make as many birdies as I can, as few bogeys as I can.
Luckily I had a good week and I was following -- I played behind Louise. It was fun to watch her make some birdies today. She is such a sweetheart, so I was definitely pulling for her. Happy the two amateurs could come and make our own here.
Q. Anything you're hoping to do in the off-season, golf related or not golf-related?
RACHEL KUEHN: I'm excited for a little bit of time off. I don't know, just spend some time with friends and family and enjoy the holidays I guess.
Q. And any goals for the spring?
RACHEL KUEHN: I think the ultimate goal is for our team to go out and defend our NCAA championship. Yeah, hoping that can happen at the end of May.
