THE MODERATOR: English questions.

Q. I know it's difficult after coming off court so soon, but could I ask you for your reflections on your match with Leylah, please.

MAGDA LINETTE: I think she played really well. I knew how tough it's gonna be, and she just played on I think her very high level.

I think my ball wasn't doing much. She felt very comfortable, and yeah, she was changing directions easy. I had couple of opportunities. Didn't take them. Then it was really difficult. She was taking every single chance. She was really on it today, so congrats.

Q. You have seen Canada up close now. How do you assess their potential to go further in this tournament and reach the semifinals? Do you think they could potentially challenge for the title?

MAGDA LINETTE: I mean, of course. They beat us, so why not (smiling)?

But, yeah, Leylah playing so well and then having both girls, Gaby and Leylah, playing such good doubles possibly, for sure they are very solid team. They are seeming to be very solid team, and then the young girl playing really well. I think there is potential, of course.

Q. It might not be possible for Poland to get to the semifinals, but there's still a big tie tomorrow. I imagine that's something that you're looking forward to, Spain on home soil?

MAGDA LINETTE: Yeah. I mean, nobody wants to finish the season with a loss, so I definitely want to go out tomorrow and do my best and win possibly.
