Q. I know it's early in the day, but you do have the lead right now. Hard-fought bogey on that last hole. Eight birdies, three bogeys. 63 yesterday, followed up with 65. Why are we seeing your game come together so nicely so far this week?
EMILY KRISTINE PEDERSEN: I don't know. I think I just try and really instead of thinking too far ahead, I'm thinking about putting on a good swing every time. Then I've been kind of playing good, playing lots of rounds under par in the last few weeks and I think it's gradually building on and making more and more birdies.
So, yeah, just pretty solid golf.
Q. I think we saw the potential superstar in you at the Solheim Cup. Your game was so exquisite. Do you think about that week or the things you gained from that week and trying to translate that into a regular LPGA event?
EMILY KRISTINE PEDERSEN: Yeah, definitely. The fact to play match play made me stay much more present. Like just think about the hole that was in front of me, and I'm trying to bring that mentality a little bit into my day-to-day golf, and also pat myself on back a little bit more when I play well.
I think at Solheim you show a little bit more grit, more fist pumping. Cheer a little bit more when you do something good.
I think I haven't really been good at cheering on myself in normal tournaments. I'm kind of like getting annoyed about the bad things, but when the good things happen I take it for granted a little bit.
So I have been trying to pat myself on the back a little bit more when I'm doing something good, and that's definitely something I'm taken from the Solheim.
