THE MODERATOR: English questions, please.
Q. Congratulations. Can you explain how you're feeling to have helped put Italy through to the semifinals of this competition?
JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, I'm feeling very well for me and for my team. Yeah, we did an amazing job today, I think. Great performance.
Yeah, I'm very happy, you know, to be in the semifinal.
Q. How would you assess your own personal level of play across the two days so far? How happy are you with how you have played, and is there anything you want to be doing better in your next match?
JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, I'm playing well, but, you know, Saturday is going to be another day. I hope to keep this level.
Yesterday I played a good match. Today I was feeling pretty well the ball. I was hitting, you know, I had good sensation, you know. But yeah, Saturday is going to be another day. I hope to keep this level.
Q. Can you talk about the evolution of this team? Martina was just in here saying how much you have learned from last year and how much more experienced you are. What are some of the things that you have learned along your Billie Jean King Cup journey that have helped you reach the semifinals?
JASMINE PAOLINI: For me personally, maybe I learn also to understand how different is to play, you know, also for the team, because maybe at the beginning I wasn't used to have so many people cheering for me. But now I'm, let's say, fine with this. I mean, I enjoy it more.
Before was a little bit, I was feeling a little bit under pressure maybe. But these two days really I felt like they are there, they are cheering for me. Yeah, I can be myself as on a single tournament, you know.
Yeah, I think that for me was the key to play a little bit better in this competition, yeah.
