THE MODERATOR: We will begin with questions in English, please.

Q. Congratulations on the win. Can you talk through the match, your thoughts on, yeah, how it all went for you and your feelings after? Because your celebration was amazing.

MARTINA TREVISAN: Yes, at the end I was so happy (smiling). You can see.

Yeah, it was very tough match, even because I was expected to play with Cornet. In my team, no, not everyone expected that Cornet was on court. But I lost with her, I don't know, maybe I play with her, like, three times and I always lost with her. So it was very tough to me to came on court and try to play at my best.

So at the beginning, I was very tight. Even the first game, I broke her, but yeah, the first set I was very tight. It was very difficult to try the rhythm. Maybe she moved a little bit better at the beginning of the match.

Yeah, it was tough to find a key to win the point. But, yeah, I think it's something that I have on me, in my body, to try to keep fighting on every ball, try to run, try to feel my voice.

It's what I did at the beginning of the second set. Yeah, and ball after ball I tried to keep the head high, to hit more balls possible. Yeah, ball after ball, my tennis was better. Yeah, I managed very well to win the match.

Q. When you talk about going into a match like that where you have previously lost to a player, is it as much about your mentality as how you play?

MARTINA TREVISAN: Yeah, yeah, at the beginning, yes, because until 9:00 a.m., we didn't know which player I will play. So, yeah, at the beginning was tough, because for me, you know, it was difficult, because every time I play with her until today, today I broke the -- I don't know how you say in English. So, yeah, I think it was more mentality than tennis play, yeah.

Q. Cornet was just in here and was very impressed with how you changed your tactics during the match. Started playing with more height over the net. Also how you improved your serve as the match went on. Can you talk about that? Was that an adjustment that you made perhaps with the captain, or was that just coming from you?

MARTINA TREVISAN: At the beginning, I made two unforced. I wasn't on the tennis, that maybe at the third or fourth ball, it was out. So I tried to be more on the rhythm, to hit more on the court and without take so much risk. Yes, as I said, to hit more ball, to feel more ball on the racquet.
