Q. How rare is it to see emotion from Corey Seager, and how great was that home run he hit?
NATHAN EOVALDI: I feel like -- it's the postseason. The one in Houston as well, it was a big moment, big home run; fired up the boys. Tie it up right there in, what, the eighth inning, ninth inning. It was incredible. It was an incredible opportunity for him. He saw that pitch and crushed it, and it was a big win for us.
Q. Talk about the job the bullpen did. And then, secondly, what kind of weapon can Jon Gray be out of the bullpen?
NATHAN EOVALDI: I didn't do my job tonight in going out there and getting us deep into the game and the bullpen picked me up.
Dane came in, threw the ball great. Bradford as well. And Pico came in, two huge innings right there. You can't say enough. They've been able to throw the ball well in the postseason.
They kept us in that game, all the way up there until the end, and our bats were able to come through and give us those big home runs and we were able to come out on top tonight.
With Jon coming out of the bullpen, you saw how great his stuff looked like tonight, the fastball/slider combination, I feel like those two pitches, even when he's in the rotation, two-plus pitches, and then he has the curveball and change-up as well. He came out tonight, attacked the zone and had good results.
Q. You started out nicely and then things got a little sideways on you. What do you feel like changed or happened?
NATHAN EOVALDI: The third inning, they put together some good at-bats. That soft contact, but they use their speed, which they do. Able to turn it into a single.
Longo had that base hit to the other side, first and second. Maybe I went to the well too many times with the splitter on Carroll, but he was able to drive a good pitch out there to left-center, and they were able to add some runs.
Again, using that speed at third base, once they hit that ball hard at Nate, and Carroll just got a good read on it, was able to score that run right there.
It's frustrating to me, especially once the offense was able to give me two runs on the board, and I turned around and gave it right back up and we answered back, tied it up 3-3, and I did the same thing.
That's just those little things that are in my control that I have to do a better job executing when we're ahead.
Q. Apparently the last walk-off homer in a World Series game was that night you pitched in Boston, and Muncy hit the home run. Aside from what you did in that game, what do you remember about that night?
NATHAN EOVALDI: I mean, it was a long night. I don't remember too much. It's tough when you're out there in the bullpen, especially out there in Dodgers Stadium, you're far away and down the line. It's hard to see everything. But just well-fought game.
I was glad we were able to come out on top tonight with Doli and Seager being able to come up with two huge home runs for us.
