PAT PEREZ: I just rode him all day. It was good. He played phenomenal. I hit a couple shots when I needed to. But as a whole we just we ham-and-egged as a team. It was great?

Q. You're back where you want to be. It's a long season. Talk about actually getting back to that spot.

PAT PEREZ: Yeah, I've got to play good tomorrow. I know Patrick Reed didn't play as well as he wanted to but he's a grinder. I hope I can help the team. I know that Pete and the captain played well. It's going to take all four of us to play well tomorrow for sure.

Q. You have to be feeling pretty good to get to this point.

PAT PEREZ: Yeah, it's awesome. Obviously the end to the whole thing, you want to win the tournament. But the other thing, you want to win, tomorrow. That's the thing. You want to be the team champion overall for the week and the year, and that's what we're looking forward to. We're all leaning on each other and we're all putting in the work to do it and hopefully tomorrow it pays off.

Q. Is there any difference in the format tomorrow?

PAT PEREZ: It's just all the scores count.

Q. Considering how you played here the final round last year, obviously very good, being able to bank off last year, how important is that?

PAT PEREZ: The conditions will be different. The course won't be as fast, so the course is long for me. I've just got to be in play and I've got to make putts. If I can do that, I should be able to put together a score.

It's a grind. The course is so hard for me. Every hole is way harder than 20 years ago when we were here. If I can get it together, if I can keep it in front of me and make some putts, I think I can come through for the team.

Q. The key is almost like those three and four guys, it's not the first two.

PAT PEREZ: No, no, except for DJ. This course is so long. He loves this place. Me and Reed have to really put it together tomorrow.
