Quick Quotes
Q. To end today like you did today, just overall what are your takeaways from round 3?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Yeah, I'm happy with the way I played. I stayed very patient out there. I think I managed the wind a little better. It wasn't as tricky, but still gusted. But I think yesterday kind of helped us figure it out.
But bogey-free, you've always got to be happy with that.
Q. To end the day tied for the co-lead going into tomorrow, what does it say about kind of the way you've been able to take away from these two days here going into tomorrow?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Yeah, shows that my game is in a good place. But I think me playing my game and staying patient and not getting lost in where I am, I think that's -- especially I think at one point I was two back, but I just said to myself stick to your process and your game. And then finally made a birdie on 17.
Q. That birdie on 17, just overall, what was it like, especially in that back nine, reading the winds today? I know it was kind of similar. But being able to take advantage of some of those holes on the front nine probably helped in that as well.
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Yeah, it did. The back nine gets really tricky being up against more of the mountain. Especially like 12, 13, 14, 15. It really bounces around. So I felt I played those holes really well. Stayed very patient.
I hit a lot of good putts today, they just didn't drop. But, again, maybe just outside that range. But I hit a lot of good lag putts that were just tap-in. So it was good.
Q. What lag putts stand out to you?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: I hit a good lag putt on 14. 12 was really good. It was a very tough pin placement. We were hitting longer clubs in there. I thought that was a really good lag one.
But to be honest, I hit -- majority of my putts were lag putts today. And then I had a few looks, burned some edges, but, yeah, just very, very steady.
Q. You've held either the co-lead or lead going into both of your wins that you've had on Tour. What will you -- what will you take away from even today or even past experiences as you take on tomorrow?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Don't push. Just stay patient, play my game. I can control my swing thoughts, and that's all I can try to do. Goal is go make birdies out there, and it doesn't quite go my way or it could go my way. But just know not to chase or push, I think, from past experience.
