Quick Quotes
Q. Despite the last, a solid day. To be able to still be two shots back going into Saturday, just how are you feeling after day two?
ALISON LEE: Yeah, I mean, obviously a little disappointed to shoot even after shooting 9-under yesterday. But it definitely played a little more difficult today. I had to back off my shot quite a few times because it was gusting so much. And the wind was changing all day long.
So it was definitely really frustrating. But tried to stay patient. I definitely feel like I missed a few really good birdie opportunities out there. Like I feel like I could have played so much better than even.
But still so much golf left. And I feel like I'm hitting the ball really well. So hopefully I could just continue that on into the weekend and make a few more putts.
Q. To still have those birdies, especially on the front nine, how did that kind of suit up for the rest of the day?
ALISON LEE: Yeah, good. Like I said, it was playing pretty tricky. So I felt like being 1-under at the turn felt like a really good score. And, yeah, it always sucks to finish on a bogey, but, yeah, a lot of golf left.
Q. Especially with these swirling winds, what's the strategy going on for these next two days, knowing the conditions, a little similar, definitely a little different?
ALISON LEE: Just being patient, I guess, and doing whatever I can to stay in the moment. It was really frustrating out there with the wind changing constantly and changing clubs here and there. I usually like to play pretty quickly, but I had to back off quite a few times, which, you know, got to my head a little bit. And sometimes it can affect maybe how you hit the shot, and you lose a little bit of confidence with that.
But, yeah, just going into tomorrow, I feel like I could just hit it the way I did today.
