Q. First three-hit game of your postseason career. Was there something that was the reason why you were seeing the ball so well today?
MAURICIO DUBĂ“N: I had a plan. I had a plan going in and executed it. The last game I hit three barrels and got caught. Today I got three, a broken bat, and did fine. I was lucky today, but I'll take it.
Q. (Question in Spanish.)
MAURICIO DUBĂ“N: (Answer in Spanish.)
Q. What did you see from Javier from your point of view, and how comfortable were you in a big game like this?
MAURICIO DUBĂ“N: He's unreal. Coming in and doing what he does in the postseason, it's for grown-ups over there, and he's coming in and it's pretty special. We're not surprised, but what he does is pretty amazing.
Q. Did you think on that catch from Michael Brantley he had any chance when it left the bat?
MAURICIO DUBĂ“N: I saw Mike run in, I saw he had a bad eye, so I stopped. Because I saw him, he was going to go after it. So in case it fall. When I saw the ball, I just -- getting in the glove, I got so happy. I think I got more happy than he did. He expected it. But I was so happy. It's pretty unreal what he does at the plate and on defense too.
Q. You said you felt like you got lucky a little bit today at the plate. After the momentum you had in the second inning, did it feel the subsequent at-bats after that, did something change for you, or were you in the same mindset?
MAURICIO DUBĂ“N: I was in the same mindset. I didn't want to change my work in BP. I had the same mindset and ended up -- I know they pitch around Tucker a little bit, so I know they want to get to me, and it's a matter of going in there and executing.
