Q. Just talk to me about your round a little bit today.

ANNE CHEN: It went well. Better than I expected obviously. But I made a lot of good putts. Had a lot of good looks at birdie and I was able to make those putts, so...

Q. A little bit of heavy winds today. Can you talk about the weather conditions while playing?

ANNE CHEN: Yeah, definitely against the winds is really are difficult, but the downwinds are great. Like it's always good to capitalize on those opportunities as well.

Q. And then coming in as an amateur, are you ready to turn pro? Are you going to turn pro? What's the plan after this week?

ANNE CHEN: Plan is to not turn pro. I want to finish out my year at Duke and just be able to play at college for one more semester and then turn pro after.

Q. So we're waiting through summer? Going through Q-Series and then making our decision?

ANNE CHEN: Oh, not going to Q-Series. Yeah, I'll play this Stage II and then stay an amateur and turn professional after Nationals in May.

Q. Going to the next course tomorrow across the way. What is the momentum going into the rest of the week?

ANNE CHEN: Just be patient. The winds are strong and the scores are going to be low, so just one shot at a time.
