Q. You talk about how you've kind of handled every situation since you were called up. What was this situation like for you?
CODY BRADFORD: It's no different than some of the other ones. Come out of the bullpen, give the team a chance to win.
Q. I know it's still a baseball game, this is a bigger stage than you've been in. It's the postseason. Were you nervous going into this? You didn't look it, I should say.
CODY BRADFORD: No, I don't think -- I know I was definitely nervous. Max Scherzer said to some of us younger guys, he said postseason baseball is different. If you're a high adrenaline pitcher, then come in and use the crowd as motivation and use the high adrenaline. If you're more of a baseline guy, trying to keep it mellow, almost be one step below that because the crowd and the environment is going to bring you up.
So I tried to be more calm, if that makes sense, than I normally would, and just kind of let the crowd and everything else move the body and get it going.
Q. You had 7 swings and misses out there, what was clicking for you?
CODY BRADFORD: Change-up was good today. I located it down the zone, got some good swings. And the heater helped, as well.
Q. In a game where your offense took so many walks, you didn't walk any guys. I know that's something Maddux preaches, how big is that not walking any guys today?
CODY BRADFORD: Keep baserunners off the base path is part of the game and helps the flow go and helps you stay in a rhythm. Corey set the record today with postseason, five walks. So that's incredible. Yeah.
Q. You're up 2-0, you've taken control of this series, how does that feel?
CODY BRADFORD: The momentum is huge. The plane fight is going to be huge vibes all around, and I hope we can keep it going.
Q. Are you excited to get home?
CODY BRADFORD: Yeah, being from DFW, I'm excited to be home, see my parents, see my friends, be with my wife.
