Q. Yesterday was his first homer in a while, but how did he feel about the way he was swinging the bat coming out of the regular season heading into the playoffs?

GABRIEL MORENO: It felt really good coming in just able to try to select the pitches, being able to execute the right way.

Q. Gabi, what is it like working with Zac? Does he feel on game day any more intense than any of the other pitchers?

GABRIEL MORENO: I see them all pretty much similar. Just always try to be on the same page with them. He is intense, but a very good pitcher, but everyone is pretty much the same.

Q. If you had to think back to where you were at the beginning of the year to where you are now, is there an area that you feel like you've improved in the most?

GABRIEL MORENO: Mainly in the second half just some of the tremendous adjustments I've made, the amount of trust that the coaches and staff have given me to be able to have more playing time, earn that playing time, and be able to feel more comfortable at the plate.

Q. What adjustments are you talking about?

GABRIEL MORENO: Good pitch selection.

Q. I know you played quite a few games down the stretch. What was it like dealing with that volume of playing time?

GABRIEL MORENO: I think I've been working really well behind the plate. As far as the playing time, I've always prepared myself for this moment and just being able to continue to prepare myself.

Q. What do you say about the bullpen's execution yesterday to get the win?

GABRIEL MORENO: Happy with all the work the boys did. It was phenomenal. Basically it was because of them that we got that win yesterday.
