MATT FITZPATRICK: It was a really good match. Obviously the front nine was where like the damage was done where think threw a lot of birdies at us on the front nine that we couldn't quite respond with. It's not like we did loads particularly wrong, but we just didn't do as much as they did. They came out of the blocks fast, and the back nine was pretty epic to be honest. We were on the back foot all the way.
But you know, Nicolai's attitude was amazing. I loved playing with him and you know coming down those last few holes with even just keeping him out on the golf course and having a chance and hitting shots, it was really, really great. Just Ryder Cup is hard and they played amazing.
