Q. All right, I'm here with Hannah Green after the first round of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Great first round out there. Can you walk us through your 18 holes?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I was a couple under through three, and was I like, okay, like I know the scoring is low here, but you just got to try and give yourself as many opportunities.

But I seemed to get on a stretch of birdies and had a few on the front nine and a few on the back nine, so it's really nice.

The course is quite soft. We had preferred lies today so it was kind of nice to be out there with the ball in a nice lie.

But I made a lot of important putts to kind of keep the momentum and was really happy out there.

Q. You mentioned putting. Anything else about your game you felt like stood out or maybe like how your game suited the course?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I played pretty solid. I think only missed few greens, so that's always nice. And I missed it in the right areas, even though I may not have hit -- made up and down.

But, I don't know, it's nice to have come off a three-week stretch. I didn't play Cincinnati. I was back in Australia, so it was more after mental recharge than physical I think.

I really enjoy this tournament. I haven't been here since 2020. It was very quiet that year so really nice to see the fans out there and play with Maria Fassi and obviously all the young girls that are inspired by her, so it was nice to have (indiscernible.)

Q. How was time back home? You mentioned mental recharge. Very nice.

HANNAH GREEN: It was good. I had three weeks in total, and pretty much the first week I didn't touch a club. Just caught up with friends and family. Just I did miss golf, but I wanted to make sure once I got back into practicing I was ready to go.

I think because Solheim Cup was on I was kind of like, you know, I'm playing against these girls week in and week out. I was like, okay, I'm ready to practice. Weather was really good, so it's just a nice time of year to be at home.
