Q. Huge point for the Europeans. How did you turn that match around?

CAROLINE HEDWALL: I don't know, to be honest. It was something in me. You know, I never give up, and I showed that today. I mean, I'm just so proud of myself and, wow, that was awesome.

Q. You're trying to be in your own lane, your own zone, but how aware were you of the whole context of the Solheim Cup down the stretch here?

CAROLINE HEDWALL: To be honest, Suzann talked to me this morning. She said just focus on you and that's what I've been doing all day. All I wanted to do was to get my point on the board there. And, yeah, it is tight and I hope we can get this done now.

Q. Wow, three down through 12, and you come back to win a point for Europe. Can you talk me through those closing holes, what you said to yourself.

CAROLINE HEDWALL: Well, I was just trying to stay patient. Like, I didn't make any putts on the front and it was frustrating, for sure, and the wind was turning around. But somehow I just felt like it has to turn around at some point and it truly did, which I'm very happy for.

Q. It seemed like there was a slight shift in momentum towards the Americans. I don't know how aware you were of that, but you just stepped up and right now it is anybody's Solheim Cup.

CAROLINE HEDWALL: Yeah, I mean, I wasn't aware, to be honest, because Suzann told me this morning to just focus on myself and try to get my point and that's what I kept doing. So I mean, now I realize how important that point was and I'm just really proud that I could turn my match around.

Q. You showed exactly why you were picked to be part of this team, the experience you had. How much did you draw on all of that?

CAROLINE HEDWALL: Well, I mean, I know it's never over until it's over and that's the fight I put on today. I mean, I'm just really proud of myself right now.

Q. How did you manage to be maybe another time the key?

CAROLINE HEDWALL: Well, I don't know, to be honest. Somewhere I just found that power and I managed to finish this off and I'm just really proud of myself.
