Q. It's got to be tough sitting here watching all this tremendous celebration going on in Spain, Carlota at the center of it, and Team Europe. Your thoughts about what your team did this week. It seemed like you did just about everything you could to prepare them to play their best.

STACY LEWIS: Yeah, I mean, just what a moment for Carlota and women's golf. I mean, such a cool finish there. My team played their hearts out. Just so proud of 'em, the way they fought. We played the back nine better all week, and they just hung in there and hung in there with every match.

I just told 'em, we didn't lose. You know, it was a tie and there was so much to build off this week. I think these rookies learned a lot and that's what it's about.

Q. A lot of preparation goes into this, hours and hours and hours about every aspect. Looking back quickly, is there any one or two things that you might have done differently that possibly could have given you a different outcome?

STACY LEWIS: No. I mean, I love the lineup the way it came out today. I loved the matchups. All week I thought we made really good decisions and, you know, these things come down to one shot or one putt and it's just amazing of all the matches that we played, that that's what it comes down to.

Q. You had your team here in front of the 17th green huddled together. Could I ask you what you told them and what you talked about?

STACY LEWIS: Well, I got 'em all crying. But I just told 'em how proud I was of 'em and just to hold their heads high. They did everything I asked of them week and more. They had great attitudes, they were classy opponents, and they represented this country so well, and just how proud I am of 'em.
