Q. Linn, the match went all the way to 18. First out on the tee this morning. How did you find that experience being first out? What did Suzann say?

LINN GRANT: I think it's fun. I think it's a responsibility. You set some sort of pace for the day. I don't know, you got to go out sometime, but kind of good to be out first, especially me playing all the rounds and now be able to go out and cheer the others on.

Q. That match, obviously, Megan 1-up, but you brought it back, a big fight back. What was that like being out there and you knew you could do it. You've done it in other matches this week. How was it for you?

LINN GRANT: It was great. It's just that she doesn't give up, does she? So I thought I maybe had it with a birdie here, but obviously I needed to hole my eagle putt and unfortunately I didn't. She's so steady and we had really fun out there today and played great both of us.

Q. How would you sum up your Solheim Cup debut?

LINN GRANT: A huge experience, so much fun, nerves. I mean, there's so much going on this week and I just love to be here.

Q. Final word on Suzann and obviously what she's been like for you as well?

LINN GRANT: I think she's been great. She's been, like, the best of everything. She's, like, really tough. She's a tough loving mother. That's what she is. She expects a lot of you, which we all do, but she also is a great cushion to kind of lean on when you feel a bit -- when you're tough on yourself or when you need that extra push. I think she's doing a great job. She's just, to me, the perfect captain.
