Q. Linn, Maja, you just gave me a little fist pump. I think you nearly broke my hand. First of all, how does that feel?

LINN GRANT: Amazing. The last two holes we play here it's, like, so much momentum. I mean, the putt you holed on 17, bringing us in, amazing. Just excited right now.

Q. You've gone through so much together. You're great friends. You're also probably your biggest rivals when you're playing a normal tournament, so what is it like sharing this victory together?

MAJA STARK: It's unbelievable. It's so much fun, especially getting that confidence growing with Suzann putting us together. I mean, two rookies, that's got to be a little hard for her to be out in the first group yesterday. I think there were a lot of nerves involved yesterday on the first few holes and then getting to play with her again it's just amazing and I knew that we could do it. It was just, yeah, letting loose and just doing it.

Q. Linn, you've pretty much played in every single game. It's not an easy golf course to walk around and it's pretty hot out here too. What are the energy levels like if you were to go out in the afternoon?

LINN GRANT: Perfect. I mean, they are. If you decide you want to play rounds, you go out and you get what you get. It's just mindset. I'm ready to play in everything I get to play.

Q. Incredible from you two. Linn, when you stand over a putt like that what it means in the context of the match and the context of the Solheim Cup and just knock it in the back of the cup?

LINN GRANT: I guess you just do it. There's no choice. You just, I mean, you just do it. Especially playing in a foursome you know that you're not only doing it for yourself but doing it for the team, for the fans. So it's a lot of weight, but that's what we like.

Q. It was an unbelievable match as well between the two of you. What were you saying to each other around the course and especially around that back nine where it was just going back and forth?

MAJA STARK: We just said -- well, Linn said to me, she will not take a halve in this match, and I said, Me neither. So we got to do it for each other. Yeah, we just said there's no way that they're winning this and then nothing more than that, really. I don't think we needed anymore than that.

Q. You were out first yesterday, got your first taste of it but how different did it feel coming out today knowing the experiences that you had yesterday?

LINN GRANT: I think we came out with a more aggressive mindset today. Losing yesterday was not fun. Our first loss ever. So we kind of had a different view of it today and just went out and crushed it from the start.
