Q. Alejandro, that was a tough match. Tell me your thoughts on it.

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: Well, it's my first time here in Vancouver. Playing the Laver Cup was such a different tournament.

At the end you play with your teammates and is not the Davis Cup and it's not individual. Then it's a little bit strange, but, you know, they will have their support to me. Then that gives me a lot of power.

Francisco, he played very well today, and I have to all the honors for him, because he play amazing and I tried to survive every time.

Q. What do you think made the difference? Because there were some very close moments in the match.

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: Yeah, well, for sure I needed one more day to adapt my game in this court. I came from Davis Cup and was faster than here. Here, when you have a couple rallies, the balls were bigger and bigger.

I think I just to have one more day to adapt my game here, and I think I was ready.

Q. Are you still feeling some of the effects of traveling with the missed flights and the jet lag and all, or are you back to normal?

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: Well, at the end, I wanted to be my 100%, but obviously taking missing the flights and the delays and the change of hours from London and here, I came Wednesday night and I just have one day to practice here. Then is not enough to be ready 100%.

I try my best, but, you know, at the end, Francisco, he play very well, and all the credits for him.

Q. What was it like to have Bjorn Borg sitting next to you?

ALEJANDRO DAVIDOVICH FOKINA: It's gonna be a nice story when I will tell to my kids, for sure, that I have Bjorn next to me, after that I watched obviously not live, but I watched his games, and to have it there is quite similar when he plays. Very calm guy (smiling).
