Q. All right, I'm here with Ruixin Liu after her first round 7-under out there at the Kroger Queen City Championship. Can you walk us through your total of seven birdies?

RUIXIN LIU: Well, so I didn't get off to a good start on the first hole, but I made the putt.

So on the second hole was a reachable par-5 so I hit my 3-wood on the green and it was like 18 yards, two-putt.

And then I made I think 15 feet on the third hole, and from that point on the putter is just rolling great. I pretty much made everything except for hole No. 12. That's the only bad hole I played today, because my second shot was only like 18 feet to the hole for eagle and I three-putt that one.

So that's the only not-so-good hole today.

Q. Is there anything about those greens you think that suited your putting today or just the putting was on fire?

RUIXIN LIU: Well, I don't think this green is particularly good for me because I'm a very feeling type of person on the golf course, and if I really feel it today, I feel it today.

So, yeah.

Q. And then anything else about this course that suits your eye? Maybe the layout? You mentioned the feel. Feel of the fairways?

RUIXIN LIU: To be honest with you I withdraw last week because I was having severe allergy like I always do. I'm still a little not clear today. I don't know how I did this good, but it happen and I'm very happy to take it.

Q. How are you looking to carry the momentum into tomorrow? Any thought processes?

RUIXIN LIU: Well, I don't want to give myself too much expectation because physically I don't feel great, so I'm just going to take a good break, try to sleep good, and try to do the same thing tomorrow.
