Q. If you can talk us through, you had a bunch of birdies on that card today.

ASHUN WU: Yeah, we made a lot of birdies, seven birdies and two bogies, was quite happy to play here. The course is fantastic.

It's my first year to play the European Tour obviously 2016, so I like the course. Actually I played well in 2016, so it's a good memory.

Q. How does it match up from 2016? Feels like it's changed.

ASHUN WU: Yeah, I think it's great. The condition, green is pure and I would say it's not much wind today only, and yeah, I think everybody pretty happy today.

Q. And some good Irish weather for you; is that why you're enjoying it so much?

ASHUN WU: Oh, yeah, it's lovely, lovely weather. I remember that when I played here in 2016, it was -- the weather, I can't remember,but it's like four season in one day. I still remember that. That's my friend, told me, oh, you will feel four seasons.

Q. What was clicking for you today? Obviously your game has changed a lot.

That you've come into this week a lot of form but clearly everything is going well for you.

ASHUN WU: Actually, I was sick last week, so I didn't play last week, and stayed in bed for three days. Didn't practise for like one week, seven days, until this Monday picked up some club and practised. Still want to play the tournament. Take it easy on Monday and Tuesday, and Thursday I feel, okay, I can play, so going to play today, happy to play.
