Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Ronni Yin after her final round at the Portland Classic. Another really good week for you. Can you just talk about the state of your game this week, what was going really well for you?
RUONING YIN: I think for this week my drive is good, my approach shot is good, my putting is good, and just everything is pretty good spot.
Q. Awesome. What made this course so scorable for you?
RUONING YIN: I think it's because rain on Thursday. Yeah, it's just make the fairway and the green super soft.
Q. I know you have two wins under your belt, another top 10 finish. What are some of your other goals for the year now that you achieved so much?
RUONING YIN: One more win, two more wins, three for wins would be great.
Q. Are you working on anything maybe different in your game, or what's your practice like as you prepare for the rest of the season?
RUONING YIN: I think for this year my ball striking was pretty awesome, and I think I just need to work on my putting and speed control and just stick with my line, yeah.
Q. Was the putting good today? It looked really good on TV.
RUONING YIN: Well, I miss a lot of short putts, like birdie chance on the back nine, but, yeah, the front nine was quite hot.
Couldn't make more birdie on the back.
Q. Last question: Your BFF right here, Janet, is coming off the green. Probably another second place finish for her. Were you aware of her right behind you today, or do you pay attention to Janet's score while you're out there?
RUONING YIN: Maybe last couple holes I did pay attention on the leaderboard. I know my position and I know she had another good round today. Couldn't beat her today. I'll beat her next week.
Q. You two are very competitive with each other?
RUONING YIN: Yeah.
