Q. Big lead to start the day for Great Britain and Ireland on this Sunday, but a whole different story, Stuart, as the captain of Great Britain and Ireland, what's your reaction to the performance and how things changed so quickly?
STUART WILSON: Obviously disappointed. We had a nice lead this morning that we kind of let slide quite a bit in the foursomes, but I think the guys will be hurting the most because they'll know themselves and I'm sure they'll be feeling like they haven't turned up this afternoon in the way we know they can.
Q. The ups and downs, the ebbs and flows of match play, how much did it change from yesterday to today? Seemingly the matches you guys finished out fell short here on day two.
STUART WILSON: Yeah, we always knew it was going to be a tight match, absolutely. Like I say, everything went our way yesterday; six matches went up the last, and we got four and a half points out of them.
But you see all the momentum seemed to be on the U.S. side today, and things seemed to be going their way. The players, to be fair, the players are a great side and they handled the conditions a lot better than our guys.
Q. Why did you think this year might be the chance? You and I talked at Seminole two years ago. You said you learned a lot, maybe fine-tuned a few things. Why did you think this was the possibility to win on a place you won the British Amateur here in 2004?
STUART WILSON: I would say the home advantage -- we were hoping that would come into play, and we learned quite a lot about preparation and what we were going to do, and we changed a lot of things for this year, and the support that the R&A has given the team as far as getting us to a place where we'd be able to give it our best shot has been fantastic. We tried some new stuff this year, and I think to be fair, it all worked well, so it'll be here to stay hopefully.
