THE MODERATOR: Tammie Green, 2-under. Great round today. Just talk us through it a bit.

TAMMIE GREEN: Well, thank you. I got off to a pretty good start, birdieing the first hole and the third hole, and then I just kept it going. I actually made a really good up-and-down on No. 2. I missed it to the right, and that's normally death, but I barely had my hands on it and chunked it to the fringe and it almost went in actually.

A very good start to have that kind of feel early on was really good.

Then I kind of had a lull. I had some makeable putts but nothing real makeable until on 13, where I made about a six-footer, and then came back and had probably a 10-footer on 14 that I missed.

Made a 12- to 15-footer on the next hole.

All in all, I played pretty solid golf, hit some little different iron shots, but that's to be expected here and there.

But overall I managed the game quite well, and looking forward to tomorrow.

Q. What's your experience at the course here, and how did it play versus maybe your expectations?

TAMMIE GREEN: Well, I first saw it on Monday, played 18 on Monday and then played nine and nine.

Got to respect every hole out here. The greens are something else, and hopefully you can get on the correct side of the pins.

I thought some of the pins were -- the first hole was generous and the 18th hole was generous, but everything in between seems to be painted on the corners. You had to just think your golf ball around, and I did pretty well. I had pretty good control of it today.
