Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Kim Metraux. Take me through your round today, maybe some of the highlights for you out there.
KIM METRAUX: Just overall a really solid day. Started off well with a birdie on 1. Kind of got me going through the round.
Managed to not really miss many greens. I think the only one I missed was when I made bogey on 15. Bit unfortunate to make bogey on a reachable par-5, but overall, yeah, just really solid from tee-to-green and managed to drop a few putts, which was really nice.
Q. What were maybe one of the highlight birdies out there for you, one that really sticks with you?
KIM METRAUX: I think one would be -- I think it was 13. I hit a 5-iron into the green, into the wind, to about seven feet. So that was quite a nice shot, one that felt good walking up to it. (Smiling.)
Q. Do you have a lot of familiarity with links courses or is this something that's maybe challenging to you?
KIM METRAUX: Something definitely different than what we play year long, but we did play Scottish two weeks ago. That kind was good preparation I guess for today.
And also most of the tournaments we play on LET, although not links courses, we've had quite a windy season. Yeah, good preparation coming to today I guess.
Q. How will Galgorm be a different challenge for you tomorrow and the rest of the week?
KIM METRAUX: Yeah, Galgorm is very different from here. It's like two completely different worlds. A lot softer course with thick rough, so definitely a different challenge. But I guess if I keep hitting fairways and greens we'll be in good shape.
