Q. All right, Karis, take us through your round today. What were some of the highlight birdies? Can you describe any of them?

KARIS DAVIDSON: Well, it's hard to remember. The back nine was quite windy so it was just grinding away.

Front nine holed a couple long putts, which was nice, and obviously teeing up off we got a little bit fortunate that the wind wasn't too strong.

And the birdie on 17 was really good as well; reachable par-5 in two.

Q. Can you take us through some of the shots on that last birdie of your day?

KARIS DAVIDSON: Well, it was downwind and in the practice round it was into the wind, so in the practice round we were hitting 3-wood and today I was hitting 8-iron, so it was quite different.

And then just hit it left of the green and made a two-putt.

Q. So for the rest of the week we'll be transitioning to Galgorm. How will that be different for you?

KARIS DAVIDSON: Galgorm is playing really soft so you can definitely be a little bit more aggressive at pins. And the greens are a little bit quicker, so it's quite a different golf course.

I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Q. You said your putting was a really big strength for you today. Have you been working on anything in your putting lately?

KARIS DAVIDSON: Yeah, working on my aiming. I was struggling a little bit, missing putts on the left, so I'm still working on that. Trying to get my starting point online.

Q. Seeing your name at the top of the leaderboard has to be gratifying after one day. How much momentum does that give you going into the rest of the week?

KARIS DAVIDSON: I'm just going to try and keep doing my own game and try not to think about that too much. But it is nice to see it up there for a change.
