Q. A lot of birdies on the back nine, how did you turn it around on the back nine and finish off another major really strong?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, I hit the ball a lot better over the weekend, and I mean, with the wind it was pretty tough. But I think the back nine is where a lot of the birdie opportunities were, and luckily I was able to make a few putts today.
Q. Lots of U.S. players up there on the leaderboard. How excited are you to see such strength coming from the U.S. before the Solheim Cup?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, it's awesome. I'm just really excited for Spain and I know both teams are going to be really solid. Right now Lilia is leading, and I couldn't be any happier for her. I hope she gets it done. She's had a heck of a year, and yeah, just have always looked up to her.
Q. Another great major finish for you. What would you say has contributed to your major success this year?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: I think just trying to come into majors as any other tournament, not putting any extra pressure or anything because it's an elevated week. Yeah, just really been working hard on all aspects of the game and it feels like it's paid off.
Q. We won't know until everything finishes, but you're in the running for the Rolex Annika Major Award this week. What would it mean if you were to win that award?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: It would be amazing. Annika's done so much for women's golf and she's such a golf icon, and to win an award with her name on it would be really special.
