Q. Take us through your round today, what maybe was different from yesterday.
ANGEL YIN: I had a better back nine I think. I just scored more on the back nine. I don't think it was relatively that much better. It's just like I was able to score, capitalise on some holes.
Front nine was a little bit tough. I think I had just a little bit too much caffeine in the morning because I was tired but I calmed down in the back so it was better.
Q. Where are the scoring opportunities on this course? Are they on the greens? Off the tee?
ANGEL YIN: Second shot. For sure, second shot. Obviously off the tee but that's I think pretty standard for a lot of golf courses. I think where really you need to be like on top of it is the second shot because the greens are really big and tricky.
And I know that, like, Ally is such a good ball-striker, I'm not saying I don't know what she's doing but I'm assuming that is what it is that she's doing.
I was hitting it relatively better today, too.
Q. Yeah, Ally, what course is she playing?
ANGEL YIN: Not this one.
Q. Have you been seeing her name up on the leaderboard, like what's going on there?
ANGEL YIN: I actually haven't been looking at the leaderboard, but our angle -- and we were on the clock for a little bit so we were running. On 15, I looked up and I was like, whoa, shocked. That's like mistakeless golf, something that we strive to play every week, but she's doing it amazing.
Q. This is obviously, I've talked to you a lot at majors this year, but what's maybe been the key to your major success this season?
ANGEL YIN: I think just my game plan is a little bit better. Understanding the golf course. Not disliking something but more working with it, I think I really, like, had it out for Evian.
Q. Do you treat majors any differently?
ANGEL YIN: No, I don't. I would like to be more rested but I played Scottish. Got a foot massage, so that made me a hundred per cent.
