CARLOTA CIGANDA: I think a pretty solid round. 2-under I think under par in any major, any round, it's a great score. Yeah, I think I had a good tee time this morning, not very windy. The last few holes a little bit more but yes, I feel I played very solid, very disciplined off the tee and hitting good shots.

Yeah, very happy.

I haven't looked at my stats but I was very present in each shot, so I thought I was really good, and then I think off the tee I was good. And then if you are --

Q. Any bunkers?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: I got lucky and I could hit it. A lot of greens, so I think my second shots, they were pretty good, as well, but I think this course, it's important to drive it well, be in the fairway and then you can hit the greens and make a few putts.

Q. Obviously the Evian, slow play, did you change the timing? Do you feel you're playing quicker at all?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, on the greens, a little bit quicker. We've been practising the routine and I think we were fine today. We've been waiting a few holes to the group in front, so I think we did a good job. Yeah, you have to understand that it's professional golf and we are playing for a living and sometimes majors if you hit it in the rough or a bad situation, it's going to take longer. If you make a bogey, it's just a couple more minutes, so I think they should understand that a bit more.

Q. But you feel confident where your game is, even playing a little bit quicker?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I've been practising and very happy with the round.

Q. Indiscernible.

CARLOTA CIGANDA: They always say the time starts when it's your turn to play, but when is that? It's just so subjective. I think in the end, if they put a referee in every group, a lot of girls, they will be penalised and I think sometimes it's not fair.

Q. You would want them to do it every time now, wouldn't you?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: It's not something that I can control so I don't want to think too much.

Q. In terms of the reaction when players are asked about slow play, how much attention to you pay to the comments?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: At the end of the day I'm here to play golf and I'm trying to do my best. I think I am a nice person and I respect everyone when I play, so I just hope they can do the same with me. Some players, they play quicker and some players, they are slower.

Yeah, I mean, of course, I can be quicker, but a lot of them, they can be quicker, too. I don't want to put too much focus. I just play golf and I love what I do, and that's it.

So before the shot, I was starting to play, so basically I have to put the ball and hit the putt. I have no time to read the putt, which I understand that if no one is in your line, but -- was opposite me, so I didn't want to go and interrupt her reading the putt.

In that specific case, I think it's just put the ball and hit, and as I said I'm a professional golfer and I do this for a living. I read the putt and I hit it. So stop watch and press the time.

Q. Sometimes --

CARLOTA CIGANDA: I know I'm not quick, like I know that there are a lot of quicker players out there but I think there are a lot of slow players, and they don't get penalized and they don't get timed as much as I do, so I don't think that's fair.

Q. Have you seen Suzann Pettersen's comments, just your thoughts on that?

CARLOTA CIGANDA: About what?

Q. She said basically -- your thoughts --

CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I haven't talked to her, and as I said, I'm just -- yeah, I can improve and I can do better, but I don't want to think too much about it.
