Q. So disappointed a little bit with the start or day one?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, pretty happy with that. I don't know -- haven't seen the scores, I'm sure someone will go low at some point. Steady start. Pretty happy.
I think if you keep it straight, it's not too bad but if you get it offline, that heather and the rough is quite thick. So yeah, if you get it off the tee here, you're golden, but yeah, hopefully I can do that again tomorrow.
Q. What's your knowledge of the course before coming here?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: I played it three times before, a few years ago and then three weeks ago I came for one practise round but it was much bouncier when I was there three weeks ago.
Obviously the rain at the start of this week but it's starting to get firmer as the week goes on I think but it's playing nicely out there.
Q. And biggest test out there? What's the biggest challenge?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Number, is it 13 is playing really long? Is that the right hole? Might be 12, actually. I think I had 3-wood in there. Playing quite long.
And then No. 4 is quite a long hole, and I think they have actually moved it up but it's still playing quite long. There's a few long holes out there but if you get off the tees, it should be okay.
Q. You seem to be playing great, major championship experience, what kind of buzz do you get?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: It's great. There's so many people out there watching right now. It's only Thursday. So it's a great atmosphere out there. So lots of good cheers out there. So hopefully it will be busier on the weekend as well. But yeah, it's such good vibes, and obviously being The Open as well.
Q. Home support, England, do you have friends and family here this week?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah, friends and family and then golf club I'm a member of, Beaconsfield, they are all coming tomorrow. A bus is coming. Nice support tomorrow afternoon.
